School of Biosecurity, Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences (SBLS)

MakSBLS is one of the two schools at the present College of Veterinary Medicine Animal Resources and Biosecurity (CoVAB). CoVAB evolved from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine established in 1972. MakSBLS’s core mandates are teaching, research and community service in the disciplines of Biosecurity, Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences.
