CoVAB Welcomes Mr. Walter Odoch as New Bursar, Bids Appreciative Farewell to Mr. James Ninsiima
On 16th August 2021, CoVAB officially welcomed its new financial team leader, Mr. Walter Odoch during a handover ceremony in which he received office from Mr. James Ninsiima.
During the ceremony which took place in the College Principal’s Conference Room, Mr. Ninsiima welcomed Mr. Odoch as the college’s new bursar. He emphasized the cooperation he has with the incumbent as they appropriately run Makerere University’s financial processes. Mr. Ninsiima also presented a financial activity report for his two-year duty as outgoing College Bursar to CoVAB administration. In this, he appreciated CoVAB for her tremendous commitment to becoming very productive in animal resources.
On making his remarks, Mr. Odoch affirmed that he looks forward to pushing resource mobilization and having the college move forward in terms of financial management and sustainability.
The Principal, Prof. John David Kabasa later appreciated Mr. Ninsiima for his remarkable services and welcomed Mr. Odoch to CoVAB.
Mr. James Ninsiima joined CoVAB as bursar in 2019 and served the College for two years. He carries on with his new task at Mak Central Examination office in charge of reviewing all university payment processes. Mr. Walter Odoch was deployed at CoVAB from the financial central office, where he served since 2004 when he joined Makerere University.
