Development of Students’ Practice and Community Attachment Model (DeSPACAM) for enhancement of Youth Employable Skills in the animal resources sector
Under the theme; Model for Improving Industrial Training at Animal Health and Production Tertiary Training Institutions in Uganda, on Thursday 27th May, 2021, Makerere University Research and Innovations Fund Chair, Prof. William Bazeyo, represented by the Grant Management Committee Deputy Chair, Prof. Robert Wamala paid a courtesy visit to COVAB to engage a team of lecturers and Researchers on the practice and Community Attachment Model for the enhancement of youth employable skills in Animal Resources Sector project.
The Project is already embarking on improving industrial attachment programs, policy recommendations for Information Technology, animal Health and husbandry training amongst the partner institutions.
Spearheaded by Dr. Maria G. Nassuna Musoke, DeSPACAM seeks to enhance students’ skills in the animal resources sector in partner institutions such as Makerere University, Busitema University and Bukalasa Agricultural College.
