Skills Development programmes

The College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-Security(CoVAB) in partnership with the Government of Uganda (GOU) through the Skills, Production, Employment and Development (SPEDA) program, developed and are implementing an alternative and transformative model of training that blends Entrepreneural, Vocational, Intellectural and Managerial Skills (BEVIM Model) along an educational value chain while allowing Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit (MEME Model) of learners into the training and job market respectively. Training starts from the grass-root to the upstream end.  This Universal Industrial Education (UIE) scheme is being implemented at CoVAB.
